We're looking for a Café All-Rounder who understands that hospitality is more than taking orders and running food. It's about creating a great experience, working as part of a team, and staying calm when things get busy.
The reality of the role:
- There are days of Early starts.
- Weekend shifts are part of the deal.
- Fast-paced services and busy periods.
- You'll be expected to think ahead and take initiative.
If you need constant direction or prefer quiet, slow-paced environments, this probably isn't the role for you.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Greeting customers and taking orders.
- Running food and drinks during busy service.
- Handling the register and processing payments.
- Keeping tables clean, stocked, and ready to go.
- Helping wherever needed to keep service flowing.
What we're looking for:
- Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience (not essential, but preferred).
- Friendly, confident, and genuinely enjoys customer service.
- Can stay organised and efficient during a rush.
- Uses initiative and notices what needs doing.
- Reliable, punctual, and works well in a team.
